Let's Make Fig Compote

In September, figs are taking red in Japan. Fig compote is most Japanese people’s favorite. It’s very easy to make and its good falovor and sweatness is really enjoyable.

Fig Compote recipe

Fig: 500g

Sugar: 200g

Lemon juice: 1/2 of a lemon

Rinse out the figs. Cut off the stem of them. Put them into the pot and pour water to the level of the figs. Boil them until they become soft. Then put all the sugar and lemon juice into the pot. Simmer them till the sause becomes your favorite thickness and sweetness.
