This is the season for making ume (Japanese apricot) liqueur.
It’s not only very delicious but also really good for your health enjoying it a little before your supper.
Three more monthes are required to enjoy it.
Recipe
Japanese Apricot: 1kg
Sugar candy: 500g
Liquor: 1.8 l
Bottle for 5 l: 1
Pour a little boiled water into a bottle for your ume (Japanese apricot) liqueur to sterilize it.
Wipe the inside of the bottle up with a towel and dry off perfectly.
Wash apricots well, wipe with a towel and dry them well.
Pick the stem end away carefully.
Put a half of apricots into the bottle.
Put a half of sugar candy on the apricots.
Put the rest of apricots into the bottle.
Put the rest of sugar candy into the bottle.
Pour the liquor into the bottle.
