Some houses in Japan celebrate Children’s Day by putting up Carp-shaped Streamers, floating iris folwers, leaves and roots on the water of bath tab when children take a bath, or putting ornament Kabuto-armor on boys' head, hoping that they will be growing up healthy and happy.
Carps climb a waterfall, which seems like carps bravely and strongly fight against troubles. The biggest one is a father, the second, mother and smaller ones are children. Iris is traditionally said to be a talisman, and Kabuto-armor is a symbol of samurai warriers bravery fought for their Lord and family.
