We’d like to introduce you several OSECHI-RYORI (dishes for the New Year days)

OSECHIRYORI is a series of special dishes Japanese people eat on New Year days. Several kinds of dishes with lucky meanings are packed in a wooden box. Kobu of Kobumaki is associated with the Japanese word YOROKOBU that means happiness, Kazunoko (that is a lot of herring roes), prosperity, Kurikinton (its color of yellow and kin are associated with gold), wealth, Ebi-no-umani, lonjevity, Tataki-gobo, better fortune, and so on.
